Samsung Galaxy Tab3 P5200

Samsung’s Galaxy Tab3 series comes in a selection of shapes and sizes… well, that’s not exactly accurate. It comes in a selections of sizes and configurations, the shape is pretty much the same across the board.

One of the most popular is the 10.1-inch version of the Galaxy Tab3, which also has its own variants. These are distinguished mostly by the amount of storage that each has, so the P5200 Galaxy Tab3 comes in 16GB and 32GB flavours. They’re both pretty tasty though.

The Tab3 features a 10.1-inch 1280 x 800 display, which is a TFT touchscreen suitable for everyday use. Samsung have put it into a slimmer and lighter chassis than any of the range before it, which is quite an achievement. The result is the same screen size with a smaller footprint.

Inside, users will find that there is a 1.6GHz dual-core processor to go along with the storage, which is more than enough to run the Android OS and any applications you might have your eye on.

But where the Tab3 really shines is with the battery, which is a frankly massive 6800mAh affair that should keep going all day while using the 3G data capabilities of the tablet. Turn that off and you’re looking at even more up-time.

What else are we looking at here? WiFi, for one, but also Bluetooth, 2G and WiFi Direct support, 3MP and 1.3MP cameras (rear and front) as well as microSD expansion up to 64GB. For a tablet that isn’t priced to the moon and back, that’s not a bad configuration at all – though Samsung has some lighter options available should your budget demand it.
