D-Link DNS 340L Sharecentre

There is another essential item that the average home or small office network cannot do without these days and that’s networked storage. Why? Er… why not? Networked storage can be used to either back up your various devices to a single central point or it can be used to save space by letting you stream hosted content over the network to those same gadgets. Long story short, you really should have a D-Link DNS 340L ShareCentre by now. That’s because the DNS 340L ShareCentre features four hard drive ports which can be used to hold drives of varying capacities (so you could install four 6TB drives if you like) in a range of configurations that can either be set up for security (such as a RAID option) or you can just use the DNS 340L ShareCentre as a whole lot of cloud network storage if your files aren’t that important. What is important is that you’ll be able to access whatever is hosted on the ShareCentre from just about any device, up to and including game consoles. That’d be thanks to the built-in media server, which will also facilitate play to most other media-capable bits of tech. About the only bad part of this little gizmo is that you need to supply the hard drives separately. But that’s also a good thing, as you’ll be able to determine what you need for your home or office yourself. But with easy setup and even easier use, having your own home server has never been this simple.
