Wireless is increasingly the way to go. Not only is it easier to set up but there is also a whole lot less cleaning up to do and you’re not going to wind up knocking so many holes in the wall. Trust us, we know. So when you want to get internet access to a location, you need look no further than the D-Link DWR-712. Why? Because this HSPA+ (also known as 3G) router will let you insert a SIM card and instantly connect your devices to a mobile data network. The nice thing about that is that you don’t need to wait for a physical line installation, you can just take the D-Link DWR-712 along with you, plug it in and you have access. There’s the option with this router to connected four networked devices directly via ethernet cable, to one of the four ports that are included. You can also connect your mobile devices wirelessly, so you can add a mobile phone, tablet or notebook or ten to the list if you like. The D-Link DWR-712 comes with dual firewalls, (NAT and SPI) as well as encryption baked in, so you’ll have a secure wireless network to play with as well. The major standards are all supported. An interesting feature is that users will still be able to answer mobile calls from the inserted SIM as well as reply to text messages. It’s fitted with an RJ-11 jack, so you can make calls over a GSM network with a standard phone line. Not bad at all. There’s not much else you need to get home or office-wide internet access. All that it takes is a SIM, the D-Link DWR-712 and a couple of minutes to set up. And just repeat if you need to move your office somewhere else. That’s a pretty sweet deal.
